Been lurking Board Anis forever and never posted but this has been sitting wrong with me. Every time I catch someone blatantly smurfing in ranked and their main gets linked I get this weird rush, like almost horny rush, and I cannot tell if that is normal or I need to log off and touch grass.
Not weird in the sense that lots of people get a little power trip from outing liars. Smurf exposure is basically public humiliation with receipts so your brain tags it as spicy even if the game is just pixels. I would separate the thrill from the hobby though. If you are refreshing tracker sites after every win just to chase that hit, that is a you problem not a smurf problem.

To be clear I am not posting their info or doxxing anyone. I just ping the mmr jump in post game chat and watch them squirm when teammates check the profile. That part where they try to play dumb while their level 400 badge loads in is what does it for me I guess. Still feels gross admitting it out loud.

This thread is unhinged and I respect it. Also yeah the duo coach thing ruins every low elo lobby, you call them out and they act like you accused their mom.
I do not think arousal language is required to enjoy justice arcs but the brain reward loop is real. Outing a liar triggers the same little dopamine ping as winning an argument on the internet. Keep it in game, do not stalk their socials, and maybe take a walk if you are still buzzing twenty minutes later.
